celebrating over 75 years of building caring confident youth and future leaders in the 9
counties we serve. It is our belief that it is more effective and less expensive to build a
child than it is to repair one.
Camp Fire USA is a family organization. Programming is directed towards boys and girls.
Our goal is to provide, through a program of informal education, opportunities for youth to
realize their potential to function effectively as caring, self-directed individuals, responsible
to themselves and others; and, as an organization, to seek to improve those conditions in
society which affect youth.
Camp Fire USA seeks to strengthen After School Programs that improve children's
academic performance, address their developmental needs and instill in them a sense of
community. Children in "Kids Clubs" participate in programs such as "A Gift of Giving"
Program, a service learning project wherein the children plan, develop, organize and
complete a specific community service project in their neighborhood. Too many children
have no safe place to be after school. Camp Fire USA may not solve all the problems of
the world, but together we can influence the children who will.
Camp Fire USA provides quality After School Programs by combining opportunities for
social interaction, decision making, learning new skills, crossing cultural barriers, having
fun, informal learning and leadership development through community service.
Program hours vary depending on the needs of the community.
